I don't even know if you can really call it writer's block. Mostly it's just a lack of motivation. There's me, who really wants to write, and then there's all the things I have to do every week and all the stress and everything. And then on the weekends, I can only pick a couple things I want to do (hangout with friends, read, etc) and I'm never in the right frame of mind to focus and write.
But I'm going to try to change that. This story deserves so much more. I'm going to write it into my journal every week and keep reminding myself that this is something I want to do and something that I enjoy. I really can't let this fall to the back burner. TMISS is my everything. Even though Trouble-Maker needs a ton of work. I'm hoping that I can fix it once I get the series done, so I really need to get it done. If any of you check in on this website, which I hope you are, I hope you see this and know that I'm still here. Still writing ideas and coming up with scenes, and thinking about TMISS everyday. This is my magnum opus right now and I love it. Go read. :)

Happy 32nd birthday to Ronnie! I'm still focusing on my sophomore grades being entered into my official transcript for college, but once they are I have nothing else to focus on but TMISS!
Hey guys, I know that I've been inactive for a little while now and I'm really sorry! You have to believe me, TMISS has been on my mind everyday, but I just haven't been able to actually write anything. I have a huge list of ideas and I've been going round and round with characters in my head. I'm on winter break now, so I'm hoping to get something out soon. And the goal is to do a lot of writing in the next six weeks, so once I get in the hang of it again, we should have a lot going on. - MADDIIf someone where to look on my internet history, it would be really weird to explain to them why I spend so much time looking up pregnancy information and baby names. I want to tell you guys about something weird that happened to me a couple weeks ago! Ever since it was decided that Atticus was going to be pregnant, I've been trying to come up with names and looks and the gender. And I actually came up with a few names that I liked (which I'm not going to tell you) and I've spent the last few months trying to decide which ones would be the actual baby's names. I narrowed it down to two, and then had to decide which was first and which was middle.
Then I went to the baby name genie, just for fun, and it gave me the exact name I was considering. I like to think that it was fate or divine intervention, but I've decided that the genie and I were on the same page, so this must be the correct name for our fictional baby. I'm really excited for you guys to learn more about the baby! I'm really excited for Ronnie and Atticus to start figuring things out as well. I hope when the baby action picks up that you'll all throw me your opinions and thoughts! I want to know what you think they should name their baby, or if you want a girl or boy, and anything else you might be thinking! Also, what're you thinking about Arch? He's going to be a big brother. Sometimes I feel crazy for thinking of and talking about my characters like real people. But then I remember how long these characters have been a part of my life and the fact that I created them, and I get over it pretty quickly. :) I was surprised to see in the stats that people actually do look at this website! Which is great! I put this up to make my life easier, but also because I wanted people to be able to keep track of all the families and relationships. TMISS has come a long way since the start and it's crazy to think that it's turned into something this large.
Hey everyone! I've been thinking about when I'm going to start this next installment and I've been writing and rewriting and coming up with names and just planning calendars and timelines. But when it comes to writing that first chapter, nothing seems good enough. I've started at different places and time periods and I don't know, I'm just having issues figuring out how I'm going to actually start it. I have so many good ideas, just none for the beginning!
But, I did figure out one part of the story today. I kept going back and forth over it, and I've finally made the decision. Not going to tell you what it is, but you'll see eventually! I hope to start sometime after I finish this semester. I've only got two weeks left, so hopefully I'll start fairly soon after that. :) Until then, enjoy these pictures of Ronnie & Arch! ❤️ If you don't know already, my name is Maddi! I'm the author of the Trouble-Maker series. I started writing these about 4 years ago. I know they're fanfiction, so I really have no claim to a lot of what's in them (some of the names, some of the people), but I've really come to love this series as its own entity. I adore the characters and the story I've written.
With that adoration, comes the want to be submerged in this world often! Because of how much I love the story, I just kept writing it, and eventually I ended up with so many converging plot lines and characters. So awhile back I created a website awhile back so that I could keep everything straight and help you guys keep it straight. This is the revamped version. :) Not everything is on here yet, but there's quite a bit! I hope you guys like the website and will check back for updates & if you ever get confused! Story news will be posted here as will updates as the third installment begins. I hope to get started very soon. I'm just trying to finish up some other stories and finish my semester first. I want to say thank you to those of you who have stuck with me this long! I want to thank you for your continued support and feedback. I hope to see you commenting on Something Special when it starts! So go check out the "About" for story summaries. Click on some of the family names for character bios, and let me know what you think! |
